Tipping your hair....?

i have dark brown hair, medium(few inches below my shoulders., and choppy.

i heard of dying the tips of your hair,

i'm wondering what that would look like.

and since i have dark drown hair if i dye like a lighter brunette color.

or if there are some cute ways of dying some of your hair, but not a drastic color cuz i have never dyed before.

you should first try just going a shade lighter or darker to start most hair salons use semi permanant die so it wont last forever and will fade after a few months. maybe try a few highlights that could look really cute
