Should I wait to get my hair cut in layers?

I really want layers in my hair. I don't know if I should wait to let my hair grow longer though. Right now I have shoulder length hair if not longer. I found a cute picture in a magazine and I REALLY want it done. The girl in the picture has hair about an inch below the shoulder. Do you think the hair would look the same on me? Sorry, there isn't a picture on the internet so I found it in a magazine.

I think you sould wait untill your hair grows and inch and a half more. Then ask your stylist if the cut is right for you. But, yeah I think you should get it done. Hope I helped!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on the thickness of your hair. Long layers look beautiful if your hair is really thick. Then I would say to let it grow longer. If your hair is thin like mine, long layers would just make my hair look thinner, it wouldn't get enough oomph and it would just lay there. So when I get my layers, I have my stylist cut it to my shoulders and layer it. That gives me tons of body and it looks great (no to sound conceited), but I do love it.

If you have a good feeling about it do it! It is only hair and it does grow back. Layers are great and can ascent the features in a persons face. New Years is coming and what could be better than a new look for a new start!!!
