i've been brunette my entire life, but i'm dying my hair an auburn color. i love ashlee simpson's new look. i just want some tips on how to take care of colored hair and any suggestions on a cute cut?

Red is the hardest color to maintain when it comes to coloring your hair. You might get a auburn color but after awhile it will fade or wash out. What you can do is get color shielding shampoo. Loreal' Vive is good, Garnear, or anyone else pretty much sells it. You can also go into the more expensive stuff. That will probly work better. [But it will hurt your wallet] Another thing about coloring your hair. You have to keep it moisterized after that because the harsh chemicals in the dye can really harm your hair an cause alot of breakage. As for the cut. I really dont know. When u get cuts its supposed to be according to your face shape.
