i have really long and thick hair im getting it braided about half way then curled but the lady doing my hair hurts my head but it looks cute does any1 have any advice about what i can do that will take my mind off of it

If you have a portable music device along with some earbuds, I would suggest using that. I know I get lost when I'm just listening to music. I would also take the first posters advice in taking a pain reliever before you leave.

Take some advil before you go take a magazine your interrested in. MAYBE EVEN A HAIR MAGAZINE! A book ,talk to the salonist. YOu can also ask her to please be a little more gentle because my scalp is sensitive.
