What are your views on female working professionals tying their hair in ponytails?

I mean 2 ponytails by the sides at the back. Normally, little girls like to tie their hair with 2 ponytails. It looks cute on them. What do you think of working adults? Is it acceptable for working professionals such as teachers, accountants or executives to tie their hair in this way? Does that make them look kiddy or unprofessional in any way?

lol, this made me laugh. Only women with a 7 year old mentality or porn stars dressed as school girls wear there hair in pigtails. I would definitly not take any grown woman seriously if she wore her hair like that.

I like it, but I'm a guy.

People in office environments are so stuffy and rigid. You can't be playful with your actions, and you can't really be fun with your clothes. So very subtle things, like the dual ponies, can really tell a lot about who you are.

I have to wear a uniform at work, and I wear my hair REALLY messy, so people know I'm a fun person. I'd die if I was as stuffy as my coworkers and boss.

Double braids are where it's at for skiers. Double unbraided pony tails are unusual in the workplace, but can be used just to be silly or fun. I would expect an artistic or off-the-wall personality to wear them; it's retro.

Childish hairdo especially for a professional, but it also depends on what her profession is. Might be ok for a beautician or physical therapist but not for a CEO or corporate manager or business executive. Ponytails don`t go well with tailored suits and briefcases.
