I need hair style ideas for school so i wont have the same hair since 6th grade?

i usually wear my hair down and plain or in a pony tail/bun. but its my 8th grade year and i need to do something cute and fun that everyone will like. my hair is medium length, at my shoulders and its dark brown with red and blonde highlights.its also layered. please help!!

You can change your hair damatically just by parting it in different places. Try splitting your hair up into two parts (front and back) Line up the seperating line even with your ears. The back of your hair should point back and you can even put it up in a pony tail to get it out ofthe way while you're working with the rest of it. The front: You'll take a brush or a comb (this works best when wet or with a lot of hair spray) and flip the front half from the corner of one eye all the way over the top of your head to the other side. If you are into a whole different look, crisp ringlets are adorable. Also, ringlets in pig tails are freaking CUTE. They might seem a little childish, but what kid is going to spend an hour curling their hair and wear makeup? ;) Personally I love this style, but after you get into about your 2nd year of high school people start to look at you funny.

Anything that adds volume and umph and shine to your hair makes it hott. Just remember that. :)

look through hair style mags for ideas...partially back in a scarf or headband, pulled back in little clippies, or tiny rubberbands....lots of ideas in my head, but they're too hard to explain w/out pics.

Curl it with mousse and spray hair spray or put your hair half up half down or straighten your hair and braid little parts of it through out your hair.

there is LOADS to do with medium length hair!

You could curl it under or out to make your layers look cool

You could curl it into curls

You could straighten it so the layers are all choppy looking

or blow dry it upside down it gives LOADS of volume

or if you dont want to use anything that requires heat you could try the wet look ( it never really worked for me but its cute on everyone else)

or braids

pigtails messy ones tho not the cheerleader kind

side braid

or a deep side part pulled back into a pony tail

or those twisty things they look cute plus your young enough that you can still where them and if you do those you could wear your hair down or in a pony tail
