It's my choice, but I catch hell for expressing my prefernce when asked. Iook at a black and see nothing attractive to me..I look at a cute white lady with blonde hair and pretty blue or green eyes and thats what I like. Should I remain silent when the subject comes up, or do I deal with the negative comments and arguments. I think that because of the stereotypes out there about black men dating white women and white women dating black men, there are sadly many people who believe all the stereotypes and can't accept that someone may simply be attracted to someone not of their own race. I would just tell them simply that it isn't about race, but about the physical characteristics of a woman you are attracted to. You just happen to be attracted to attractive blondes with blue or green eyes who just so happen to be white. This is no different than people being attracted to someone who is tall and lean, long hair or short, tan or pale, busty and curvaceous or small-chested and straight. You're entitled to be attracted to whomever you are attracted to and people just need to get a life. If the attraction is mutual, then THAT is all that matters - not what anyone else thinks.

You are entitled to an opinion, and you are certainly allowed to have a preference in the type of women that you like. I actually posted a question relating to this earlier this morning. I do not understand. I am not against interracial dating, but I believe that most black men like you have self-esteem issues. There are a lot of beautiful white women but there are also a lot of beautiful black women. We come in all different shades and sizes as well. If you don't like dark women, what's wrong with dating someone that is light-skinned? I truly think that the issues are deeper than the white woman is easier to get along with, and the white woman is prettier. I think men like you are insecure and need a white woman to validate you. How are white girls superior? Explain yourself. You're black, so does that mean when you look at yourself you see nothing attractive about yourself? I have almost exclusively dated white men for years. I don't feel white men are superior to black men. I have life experiences very few black men have. I've traveled quite a bit in my life. I've been lucky enough to do things that very few people, and even fewer black people, have done. For me is about common life experiences. For you it's something very sad.

It is all up to you. If it is important to you to express your preference, do so. Just be prepared for the fact that the world is the way that it is and there will be some negative feedback.

Nowadays though everyone is so politically correct no way can you avoid some negativism whenever the subject of race comes up, not unless you manage to say absolutely nothing at all.

It is not that I would not consider dating, and have not dated someone darker, and even some black men, because it is not all about hair or skin color. If you prefer white women that is fine, everybody have a different preference but to say that white women are superior compare to other women is racist. You wouldn't like it if someone said that white men are superior and more attractive than black men.
