wash it tonight, use your stuff, then dry it %26amp; straighten it. if its puffy in the morning try straightening it more. or use your leave in conditioner %26amp; mousse to scrunch it.

Help with my poofy hair?

i would take a shower the night before, then put it up into a loose bun with some anti frizz cream and leave in con. in it. then sleep. in the morning just take it down and run your fingers through it. dont brush it because it will frizz. when you take it down lightly hairspray it. then you are done!

Help with my poofy hair?

I have found that shampoo and conditioner that are for curls work well seeming how most people with curls (me included) have issues with poof. It took me until I was in high school (like a sophomore or junior) to realize that DO NOT under any circumstances brush your hair! Especially when it is wet! This separates your curls and then what do they do? Go crazy! Use a pick (wide toothed comb) or just use your fingers to comb through your hair. Put in your anti frizz cream and your leave in conditioner and then take a hair dryer on a low, cool setting with a defuser and dry it ... if you don't want to dry it, let it air dry. If your hair is still looking poofy don't be afraid to add a little more anti-frizz cream. Take a curling iron after it's dry to define your curls. Next time you get your hair cut address this issue with your stylist you need a nice cut that will calm down your hair. Personally, I just got my hair done with a lot of layers and it has done wonders for the poofiness. When it was long and closer to the same length it just would poof at the bottom.

Good luck! It really is a blessing to have hair with body, curl and thickness. It just takes a lot of practice making it look good.

Help with my poofy hair?

hey, i have the same problem and i have thick hair that goes to my belly. it too is very nice when wet but it gets poofy as it dries. this is what i do: i either take a shower in the evening and tie my hair up as it dries. this way it's less frizzy and poofy. i also sometimes towel dry my hair then apply gel and twist it into two buns on the sides of my head as it dries.

hope this helped!

I'm 15 so i know what you're talking about with school pics!
